This morning's inclement weather and major traffic jam was just a mini preview of what is awaiting us this winter. Even though there was very light precipitation everyone just seemed to slow down to the point where no one was able to move. It was so bad that it took me over an hour to get to work, even though I live only 15 minutes away.
No matter how reluctant or bitter I am that winter is here, I cannot avoid the truth. I have to be prepared for the worst. Considering how bad the winters have been the past couple of years, I want to make sure I have everything I need for bad weather, especially while driving. My main concern has always been driving in snow or icy weather. Unfortunately, it is not like when we were back in school, and work does NOT get cancelled every time the weather is bad. I have to drive and get to work, so the only thing I can do is be prepared. That is why I always make sure to stock up on my custom auto accessories at the beginning of each winter, so I have all of the supplies I need when the weather gets rough.
